 Classic Neutral Bow
« Thread Started on Apr 17, 2007, 4:08am »

The Neutral Bow, as developed by Ed Parker as 10 Points.

The Neutral Bow (10 point check list)
1. Toe/heel alignment.
2. Knee/heel alignment.
3. Toes in.
4. Knees out.
5. 45 degree angle of bend in knees.
6. 50/50 weight distribution.
7. Lead arm at 45 degree angle.
8. Lead arm not to close and not to far out.
9. Rear arm is ready to strike(palm up) and in front of Solar Plexus.
10. Back is straight, head straight.

This stance is wider and more stable than the DK Fighting Stance. It is also harder to stay in. This stance is un-natural and takes some time to get use to.
Training in this stance builds stronger legs and lower torso.
